The Pilot line has been completed and commissioned so far and now the planned tests are in progress by CNGV with the assistance of BMP, even though the COVID-19 health pandemic has caused a delay in the test schedule. Furthermore two severe damages unexpectedly occurred in the winding machine feeding systems affecting the electrification. BMP repaired the damages, re-tuned the equipment and successfully produced the first complete CNG cylinder using impregnated carbon fiber. These incidents have caused delay in the project.
The other 3 liners, that have been already hydroformed, are ready to be wrapped up with carbon fiber. They will be included in a batch designed to undergo the official testing with ABS.
